Jordanian-Egyptian axis to the aid of Lebanon

The Jordanian-Egyptian axis, which was displayed at the Baghdad summit, has been tasked by the United States and Russia to help Lebanon secure energy supplies.

A meeting will be held on September 7 in Amman bringing together delegations from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon … and Syria to work out the conditions for the delivery of Egyptian gas and Jordanian electricity to Lebanon.

Separately, in an interview on Israeli television, due to air around Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced that he visited the Jordanian royal palace and had a warm and lengthy conversation with King Abdullah II.
