Lockdown Extended Despite Weekly COVID Deaths in England Dropping to Lowest Since March 2020

Despite Prime Minister Boris Johnson announcing an extension to the country’s lockdown, weekly COVID-19 deaths in England and Wales have dropped to their lowest level since March 2020.

Citing infections caused by the Indian variant of the virus, Johnson yesterday added an extra four weeks on to a lockdown that was supposed to completely end on June 21st.

Even before the announcement was made, some government ministers indicated that another extension on top of that could prolong restrictions throughout the entire summer.

The lockdown was extended despite official figures showing that England just recorded its lowest COVID-19 weekly death toll since the start of the pandemic.

“Office for National Statistics data shows 52 Covid deaths occurred in England and Wales between May 29 and June 4, down from 69 last week and the lowest recorded toll since the week to March 20 last year,” reports the Daily Mail.

The whole of the UK recorded just 10 COVID deaths today while it recorded only 3 yesterday.

Another stat shows that just 0.8% of NHS beds throughout the UK are occupied by people who have had a positive PCR test.

As we have exhaustively documented, the continuation of lockdowns is entirely predicated on extremists, including one Communist hardliner, who are now insisting that the restrictions should “never” end.

These are the same government advisers who admitted using “totalitarian” fear tactics, “mind control” and weaponizing behavioral psychology to terrify the public into total compliance during the first lockdown.
